Project Overview
Traveling for the first time can feel overwhelming with passport rules, packing lists, seasonal tips, and even time zones can confuse new travelers. I designed and developed a centralized, easy-to-use travel guide to give first-time international travelers the confidence they need.
The site organizes essential information into a clear, step-by-step format that reduces confusion and increases preparedness.

HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Figma, Photoshop
The Challenge
First-time travelers often rely on scattered information across government sites, travel blogs, and YouTube videos. I wanted to create a single resource that organizes everything travelers need into a clean, friendly, and reliable guide.
The Solution
A centralized travel platform with:
Passport guide + form steps
Packing checklist
Seasonal traveling tips
Time zone selector
Clean UI designed for easy scanning
Process
1. Research
Reviewed travel.gov and top travel blogs
Noted common beginner questions:
“What paperwork do I need?” “How do I pack?” “When should I fly?”
Defined the core user goal: “Help me feel prepared.”
2. Wireframes
Built a card-based layout to keep information modular and digestible
Focused on readability and visual grouping
3. Visual Design
Friendly, calm color palette for trust and simplicity
Clear visual hierarchy
Icon-driven sections for quick recognition
4. Development
Built custom UI with HTML/CSS
Implemented time zone selector with JavaScript
Created dynamic content modules for each travel category
Outcomes
Completed and launched a fully functional, intuitive travel guide
Strengthened UX structuring and content hierarchy skills
Created a scalable base for additional features (currency converter, visa checker)
What I’d Improve Next

Include beginner itinerary templates
Add user personalization (destinations, reminders)
