Sports fans love representing their favorite teams, but most sticker shops feel outdated, cluttered, and inconsistent across teams. StickerHub was created to provide a clean, modern eCommerce experience that lets fans explore premium sports stickers quickly and checkout with ease.

The Challenge

Sports merchandise sites often feel chaotic, visually noisy, and inconsistent from team to team. I wanted to create a digital store where sports fans could browse effortlessly, discover visually consistent sticker designs, and experience a simplified path-to-purchase.

The Solution

A streamlined, visually cohesive sticker store featuring:

Clean product organization by sport/league
Bold but minimal UI inspired by classic sports branding
A clear hierarchy focused on exploration and quick purchasing
A familiar yet modern shopping-cart flow

Process

1. Research

Studied Fanatics, NBA Store, and Fathead for UI patterns
Identified frustrations: clutter, inconsistent logos, slow navigation
Defined the goal: fast, clean, visually unified shopping

2. Asset Preparation

Collected all team logos across MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL
Cleaned and standardized artwork in Photoshop
Organized assets into a reusable library

3. Wireframes

Built low-fidelity layouts to explore product hierarchy and filtering
Prioritized “fans first” layout: simple, centered, visually bold

4. Visual Design

Neutral palette to contrast with colorful team logos
Strong typographic hierarchy for clarity
Simple grid for product browsing

5. Development

Built fully responsive layout using HTML/CSS/JS
Implemented a functional shopping cart
Ensured UI consistency across all teams and leagues

Outcomes

Delivered a clean and professional eCommerce prototype
Strengthened skills in API usage
Improved understanding of interation between frontend and backend data services
Created a scalable platform that could easily expand with more products

What I’d Improve Next

Add multiple size options for stickers
Implement user accounts + saved favorites
Add more teams/leagues (minor leagues, international leagues, etc.)
